Frequently asked questions

What's included?

One fleece-lined cave bed in the color you choose.

What size is it?

It measures 55 cm long and 45 cm wide (about 21.7 x 17.7 in), plenty of room for a small dog to curl up or stretch out.

How does it help with the cold?

The enclosed shape lets your small dog burrow in and keep their own body heat close.

How do I use it?

Place it in their favorite spot and let them climb in. Many small dogs love to burrow, so they often find it on their own.

Is it easy to clean?

Yes. The whole bed is machine washable, so there's no scrubbing by hand. Wash it on a gentle cycle and let it air dry. Tip: keep a second cave to swap in while one is drying.

What if they keep shaking?

Cold is a common cause, but if the trembling is constant even when they're warm, check with your vet.

Does your small dog shiver the moment it gets chilly?

Small dogs lose body heat faster than bigger breeds, and many have very little coat to hold it in. That's why you find them trembling on the couch, pressing against you, or digging through blankets looking for a warm spot.

A loose blanket never stays where you put it.

It slides, goes cold, and leaves them with no shelter again. And every winter night you watch them curl into a tiny shaking ball, unable to do anything about it.
